The word ‘OM' was developed with the origin of the Earth. The basis of this sound being the rotation of the Earth around the Sun. Owing to this it leaves an engraved mark on our lives. In India this tone is the keynote of the Sitar and Tambura Also the sacred syllable 'OM' is tuned to this tone like most religious music.
